Herameraki Jewelry Care
Herameraki Jewelry Care
Your gold-plated pieces will shine for longer with the right care and attention.
Our jewelry is designed to be water-resistant, so you don't have to worry about taking it off when you're near water. However, we recommend limiting prolonged exposure to water to keep your jewelry looking its best
When you're not wearing your pieces, we suggest storing them in the original Hera meraki velvet pouch in a cool, dry place to help maintain their luster and extend their lifespan.
Gently rub your gold-plated jewelry with a soft jewelry cloth to restore its shine. After every use, clean your jewelry with a cotton ball or a very soft cloth to remove any dust and dirt. To minimize scratches, store your piece in your Herameraki velvet pouch or in a separate compartment in your jewelry box.
Some of our jewelry pieces have been lovingly crafted and many of the components are put together by hand. As a result, there can sometimes be slight differences in the color, size and pattern of the materials or embellishments – all part of the charm of handmade products!
Most of the jewelry on this website is costume jewelry, unless stated otherwise. Costume jewelry is made of materials that are less valuable than fine jewelry, and usually feature glass, beads, and synthetic stones rather than precious gems. Our metal pieces are usually 18-22k gold plated or silver plated unless stated otherwise. The finish on plated jewelry may fade progressively over time from wear and tear if it doesn't taken care of.
Gold and silver plated jewelry will also eventually tarnish or discolor if left out in the open air. To prevent this from happening, store your pieces in a cool, dry place, such as a jewelry box (except the travel pouch made pu leather) leather materials can affect the color of your jewelry if stored for a very long time. only use the leather pouch when you are travelling, short errands, and then transfer your jewelry into jewelry box when you got home.
